My first time at the MEDICINE FESTIVAL was bliss… Amazing time had by all… Thank you very much for the invitation and the look after. The Afro-Brazilian percussion workshop at the Shala was attended by over 100 people drumming, singing and dancing expressing Brazilian culture at its best.
Amazing line up of great and extraordinary musicians from all corners of life from South, Central and North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australasian and beyond. Musica, Dance, Food with very exotic people. I also got invited to perform alongside the Calcutta artist (Trita) performing Indian classical music to death metal. Looking forward to seeing you guys again very soon.

We are the champions of Leeds Carnival 2023. RJC Dance troupe choreographed by Nillanthie Morz, Costume creation and development by Rhian Kempadoo-Miller, Live music by Claudio Kron +++ Amazing and energetic participation from RJC scooping the first prize. I’m well chuffed to be able to be part of this amazing institution in which has shared lively music, dance and enthusiasm for the past 30 years…. Welldone RJC… We love you…

One of the most colorful festivals in the United Kingdom. Approximately 30.000 audience. Again with a brilliant line of artists. Working with DIVERSE ARTISTIC NETWORK at the meadow the chilling/healing corner of the festival. One workshop per day attended by many many festival goers. WOMAD 2023
I have done Womad for since 1999 - Bringing Afro-Brazilian percussion, procession and cooking at the World Music Taste. Teaching and performing at Womad engaging people into Brazilian Culture. Workshop/Show delivered for nearly 200 people playing rhythms from Brazil using Brazilian percussion instruments plus djembes. At the World Rhythms tent workshops and performances by the best workshop leaders around the world and performances by: Asian Dhom Drum Foundation, Mohamed Errebba (Morocco) and Justin Adams, Brush One String and many more…

PRESIDENTIAL SHOW
Honored to say I have performed twice to the Brazilian president Lula, when he came first time to meet Queen Elisabeth in London. Performed alongside the Brazilian sensation Adma Newport, at the Barbican Centre with the presence of Gilberto Gil as the Minster Culture of Brazil.
The second time I performed to Luis Inacio Lula da Silva (Brazilian president) was in Ghana, Africa. Commissioned by the Brazilian embassy, Luis Fernando Serra (ambassador) Claudio Kron do Brazil run workshops in Ghana with: Tabom People, Obonu Royal Drummers & Mustapha Tettey Addy, Ghana Institute of Languages, Ghana University, Baobab Children Foundation, under the direction of Edit the Vos. Over 400 people (Students) benefit from the workshops in Brazilian percussion, dance and Capoeira culminating into a spectacular performance to welcome the Brazilian president Lula.
At present the group still looking for an appropriate name to suite us all. The group meet every Tuesdays evening at Elim Church, Dewsbury for practicing and rehearsing Brazilian music... The group learn several rhythms from Brazil including Samba Reggae, Ijexa, Funk, Maracatu, High life, Maculele +++ Techniques, cultural aspects of Brazil links to Africa etc...

Cultural Diversity Day at Springfield 6th Form, Dewsbury on 15 June 2023 - A Packed full day with different activities including Brazilian percussion workshops with claudio kron, with great arsenal of percussion to create a carnival atmosphere + Jeff Gordon (Saxophone) Katie Gittins (Violin).

AS part of the summer Festival of ideas by NCEM - York a packed full day with the Brazilian artist claudio kron do BRAZIL, introducing samba dance, capoeira and afro brazilian percussion workshops. The event is open to all on 17 June 2023 - 10:30 to 12 noon morning session with adults + 14:00 to 15:30 afternoon session for children, parents, family. Instruments provided.

Talking Spirits the band led by the amazing and multi-instrumentalist James Lascelles. The one of show happened at Seven Arts, Leeds on the 07 October 2022. The performance was made by the following musicians: Cuma (bass) Tim Herniman (Sax, violin) Claudio kron do Brazil (Percussion set, berimbau, pandeiro) special guests: Rahim and Hashid (Tablas) + The Voice choir of Leeds. Directed by; James Lascelles, piano and percussionist extraordinaire.
Circa year 2000 commissioned by Creative Partnerships the Brazilian percussionist Claudio kroon has run a series of workshops in School in deprived areas in Newcastle. Working with three different schools culminating in a wonderful performance for the Georgy community.
BLACK HOSTORY MONTH 22
Ingredients; 3 x school, 25-30 children from each school, instruments to over 80 people, young students age between 6 and 10 ADD culture, music, dance and lots of rhythms.
MIX IT ALL TOGETHER
Dress the children up in bright colors; invite the parents for a blast…
The children learned and performed Samba music and Samba Dancing. They played together rhythm of Samba Reggae from Bahia Brazil. They all learned histories from the diaspora movement to celebrate BLACK HISTORY MONTH 22 – TAHNK YOU TO ALL THE SCHOOL INVOLVED.

On the Sunday 24 September of 2022. Received by the hands of master Zoi Nacimento, Mamae and the Brazilian Consulate in Palermo. The certificate of master percussionist for my tireless working with music for over 35 year professionally. The certificate was also signed by all Capoeira master present.

Amazing to be along side so many master from Brazil and the world.
When I got invited by Opera North to run workshops for refugees organized by Opera North. I couldn't believe my luck. As my music carrier is always based in take back to Africa what they have done to us Brazilians.
As Brazil is one of the biggest nation in the world and Bahia the place I was born is where we have the biggest population of Africans in one place, so we celebrate a lot about that in Brazil.
Working with people from Cameroon, Sudan, Eritrea, Bangladesh I was delighted as it was the platform that I always wanted to share my music and culture. Thank you...
